The Turning Points

In the years that followed, I built a career, a family, a life. I also built walls I didn’t know were there, carrying more than anyone should carry alone, staying longer than I should have stayed, and losing pieces of myself along the way.

When I was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer, everything stopped.

I made a decision that the people in my life did not fully understand. I chose to face it naturally, through nutrition, faith, mindset, and the plant-based lifestyle I had already been building for years. I will not tell you it was easy. I will tell you that God was present in every moment of it, and that I came out the other side more certain of who I am than I had ever been.

Not long after, I walked away from a marriage of 20 years. Another chapter closed. Another beginning.

The Beginning

I grew up in Bermuda, a small island, a big faith, and a life that taught me early that things don’t always go the way you planned.

I became a mother as a teenager. And while that was not the plan, that child, and the three who came after, became the reason I refused to stop. I put myself through college while raising my children, often as a single mother, working, studying, and showing up for four lives that depended on me.

I did not have the luxury of giving up. And somehow, that became my greatest gift.

The Reinvention

I was in my 50s. I had four grown children, a faith that had carried me through the unimaginable, and a body I was ready to truly meet for the first time.

I began bodybuilding.

In 2022, I stepped onto a national stage as a vegan wellness competitor, and placed 5th among non-vegans and women from across the country. At 54, I am still competing. Still growing. Still becoming.

I did not rebuild my body despite everything I had been through. I built it with everything I had learned. The discipline of survival. The clarity that comes after loss. The deep knowing that what goes into your body matters and that plants, whole foods, and intentional living are not a trend. They are a foundation.

Why I Coach

I became a certified health coach because I kept meeting her…the woman in her 40s or 50s who feels invisible. Who has given everything to everyone else and forgotten that she is still in there. Who has been told that feeling tired, heavy, and hormonally wrecked is just ‘part of getting older.’

It is not.

I know what is possible because I have lived it. Not in theory. On a national stage, at 54, powered entirely by plants and faith and the refusal to believe that my best years were behind me.

That is what I bring to every client. Not a meal plan. A movement. The belief that your body is not broken…it is waiting. And that the woman you are becoming is more powerful than the one you’ve been.

Closing Invitation

If any part of my story sounds familiar. If you’re tired of feeling like your body is working against you, tired of starting over, tired of being the last person on your own list. I want to talk to you.

You are not broken. You are evolving.

And your strongest chapter is still ahead.
